HIV Planning Program

The HIV Planning Program is a community initiative to identify, prioritize, and fund health care and social support services for People Living with HIV/AIDS in an eight county service area. Health Council staff collects and analyzes HIV/AIDS incidence and prevalence data; surveys program clients to determine client service needs; conducts resource assessments and funding stream analyses; and works through a community consortium known as the West Central Florida Ryan White Care Council to prioritize need and allocate funds to provide needed HIV/AIDS services.
