The Insurance Services Program (ISP) is an enrollment-based program designed to maintain private health insurance coverage for People Living with HIV/AIDS. The program was created in 2002 to pay health insurance premiums, deductibles, and prescription drug co-payment fees for People Living with HIV/AIDS in an eight county area. ISP is funded by the State of Florida and federal funds that flow to the State of Florida through the Ryan White Care Act. Clients are enrolled for services by case managers who coordinate the delivery of HIV/AIDS program services in Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk Counties.
